All the POI Icons are blue?

I am new here and have a small problem. I did a search but didn't see anything that quite fit my problem. When I load POI's with the corresponding icon into my Nuvi 755, the icons show up as a blue square. When I look at them on the computer they look fine. Any idea what the problem might be?

Couple of things you might want to check. I would use the Garmin not the Garmin Direct download option. Do you check off the box next to "Zip file with data and icon"? Then loading the pois with the icon using POI Loader? If you are doing all of this then someone more tech savvy than I hopefully will be able to help.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm loading the data and icon and I'm using POILoader. The icon does load, but shows up as most a blue square...especially those icons that are not supposed to be square, like an Esso icon, for instance. Seems to be a problem with the icon.bmp, but I don't know what, since the icons look ok on the PC.

Oh, also, it appears, when you look really close, that the actual icon IS there but covered by a blue square. Very odd.

Use window MS paint to re-save the icon as 256 color. Some of downloaded icons are 24bit color
