Welcome to the POIfriend Help Center.

We are continually improving the functionality of our site (in large part due to input from our valued users) - but of course that doesn't mean you don't have questions or need help!

If you haven't done so already, please check out our Frequently Asked Questions or the User Forum in the Community tab. You will often find that your question is already answered by the FAQs or by another user. Note that you can search the user forum to make it easy to find the other issues users are experiencing.

POI GROUP UPDATES NOW IN ALERTS!
We've further enhanced our alerts because you've asked! Just add any POI Group (that is not your own of course) to 'My POIs' (use the 'Tools' button). From now on, anytime that group is updated you'll receive an alert so you can always use the most up-to-date version.

NEW FEATURE - SHARE YOUR LOCATION
Check out the 'My Friends' area. You can now share your location with friends and family. For those who return the favor, you can view their locations... even see everyone on a 'friend map'. Stay tuned for even more innovations on the way!

ANNOUNCING OUR NEW ALERTS SYSTEM
We are pleased to announce our new automated 'Alert' system. Now users will receive e-mail notifications when they have new 'Suggies', Friend Requests, and shared POI Groups. Of course, you have complete control over whether you wish to receive alerts via e-mail!

GET SOCIAL WITH SOCIAL MAPS IN FACEBOOK
We've just launched the beta version of 'Social Maps' - a really cool 'powered by POIfriend' application for facebook.

'REGIONAL FOCUS' NOW ACTIVE
Now you can filter POIfriend by geographical region. Just look for this new feature above the POI Group list. If you create POI Groups, you'll now notice that you can assign it to a region (sub-continent) in the world.
